At 7 am we all met downstairs in the hotel for breakfast and discussed the plans for the day. Cars had been loaded the night before but we needed to solder up some packs that had been sent over from Kim at Thunder Power Batteries. Chad had the soldering equipment in his room and had 4 sets done in short order.

Although Chad and Ethan flew yesterday at MG Zurich, this was our first
day of full practice as a team. Our initial plan was to return to that
site but the forecast was for windy crosswind conditions so we elected
to switched to our "alternate" field.
We headed out and found the field after a couple "Aussie Detours"
:-). We had the place to our selves and after quickly assembling our
primary airframes, started putting in practice rounds. We made minor changes to
expo setting and down line braking percentages as we continued to refine minor elements and get the right "feel". Constructive debriefing followed each flight and we all improved as the day went on.

Michi headed back early as he was starting to fade but we all put in additional rounds well into the afternoon. The rains started around 4 pm so we packed up and headed back to town. Chad & Agnes stopped and picked up some additional batteries for the contest and had a look at the worlds site. We then had a debriefing session and then walked to dinner at the Restaurant Glatthoff.
Chad came back and had a new motor from Plettenberg waitng in his room. He was doing the happy dance! Later we had a visit from Glenn Orchard and Dennis Travassoros from Team Australia as they had some batteries in with the shipment that Chad had received. A short visit
Ground Hog Day tomorrow as we plan to meet at 7 am and repeat the whole exercise... we will decide on location in the morning.
